Recommended Equipment

There are a number of machines that make recycling more efficient and cost effective. Below are the specific types of equipment we use, and how they help us generate additional savings for our clients.

Compactor

Our compactors crush your operating costs by reducing the number of pickups. By compressing your waste and recyclables–often in a ratio as high as 5 to 1–you’ll lower hauling expenses and greenhouse gas emissions.

Baler

Baled recyclables command a higher rebate than loose material, and reduce the amount of space needed to recycle. Balers are primarily used for cardboard and plastic.

Monitor

Having a monitor on a compactor saves a site money on haul charges and also helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions. A monitor also ensures that the compactor is being used to its optimal capacity.

Digestor

Our digestors use cutting edge anaerobic technology to greatly reduce or eliminate the amount of organic material going into the landfill, making your pick-ups less frequent. Your organic waste is broken down by micro organisms into nutrient rich gray water which can then be safely diverted to irrigate and fertilize landscaping–or when permissible, even drained directly into the sewer system.
